ABOUT THE ROLE
 

This role is a full-time position, that is based remotely within Canada, though office space is available in Vancouver or Victoria, BC. Compensation is dependent upon experience but will fall in the range of $65,000 -$80,000 and includes a comprehensive employment benefits package. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Analyst’s primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Supporting the CEO in the creation of an outcomes financing model and business case for a Community-Driven Outcomes Contract on diabetes reduction in Indigenous communities. This entails the following: 
  • Costing components of the project to inform the Outcomes financing structure 
  • Researching similar impact bond models and outcomes contracting models and providing recommendations based on project needs 
  • Drafting detailed financial models 
  • Drafting supporting business case documentation 
  • Collaborating with the Impact Measurement Specialist to incorporate Indigenous impact metrics into the model 
  • Other duties will include; 
  • Assisting with relationship management (community, investors, outcomes purchasers) 
  • Supporting annual reporting 
  • Compiling reader-friendly materials about the outcomes financing for project partners 
  • Engaging with peers in the social finance 
  • Supporting funding applications as required

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Post-secondary education 
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques / economic models 
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ work experience in a relevant or transferable field (finance, social finance, economics) 
  • Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills 
  • Advanced presentation and communications skills 
  • A strong work ethic 
  • Experience working in, or with, Indigenous organizations or communities
