Jacqueline Jennings, Associate/Director of the Fireweed Fellowship
The Raven family is thrilled to be celebrating the one-year employment anniversary of Associate, Jacqueline Jennings. For the past year, Jacqueline has spearheaded the design and launch of the Fireweed Fellowship, Canada’s first national accelerator program for Indigenous entrepreneurship. Since the Fellowship’s official launch in November 2020, Jacqueline has led and facilitated the decolonized program alongside incredible guest lecturers, including sessions on Money Mindset, Investment Readiness, and Medicine Wheel Teachings. She is also a part of the Raven Indigenous Impact Fund team and is involved in both deal sourcing and value creation for the Fund’s portfolio companies.
Prior to joining the Raven team, she worked as a Business Coach, a co-facilitator of Decolonizing Practices, and as a lead facilitator with RADIUS SFU. Aside from dedicating her working life to promoting economic sovereignty and revitalization for Indigenous Peoples, Jacqueline loves working with horses, foraging for mushrooms and berry-picking, and raising a child in the forest.
