Our Thesis

Raven Indigenous Capital Partners is an Indigenous led and owned social finance intermediary that is committed to developing purpose-driven investment platforms that enable investors to vote with their dollars in favour of building a vibrant Indigenous economy.

Our theory of change has two central premises:

  • That empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs (and, by association, Indigenous communities) with access to appropriate capital and capacity building support is critical to building a vibrant reconciliation economies in Canada.
  • That an Indigenous-led and owned intermediary is necessary to "decolonize" the investment process and ensure cultural safety for all parties.

By finding scalable Indigenous-led solutions to pressing issues such as financial inclusion, climate change, chronic health, and energy and food sovereignty we believe that Indigenous communities, and the world, will benefit and become more resilient.
